Horses that Have Just Been Rescued or Arrived

Below is some of the horses that have rescued or are race horses off the track. They are in need of a new loving home. Many of the horses that come through here are not sound or can only be pets. All the same they need love and attention.Thank you to all the families who take in these over sized puppy dogs!! We are a last resort rescue. Many people call me with a horse that needs that extra time. Some of the horses have an Injury or have 24 hrs to be placed before their time is up. I take the ones that are gentle enough to be turned into kids mounts. What better life then being adopted by a little boy or girl and told stories each day!! Almost every horse on this site and on our farm is or was a rescue.

Madonna, 4 yr old TB Grey Mare 16 hands

Madonna Is a sweet mare. She has been off the track for about 2 months or less. She was retired from the track sound. She while at the track had an infection in her throat that has been treated and healed. It has left scar tissue in her throat which makes her have a roar sound when worked hard or raced. She would be perfect for local shows, trials ect just not heavy eventing as she is. The scar tissue can be removed for aprox $1,500 then she would be completely sound for what ever.This causes her no pain just makes a sound. On the ground she has perfect manners, very sweet, no vices and is already very calm. She has nice correct legs and has a nice hind end on her, Her pics dont do her justice as in person she is much thicker and has a much better body.  She is trace clipped now and has front shoes on. She is ready for her next home. adoption fee has beeen waived for the right home for this month only.
